Kirsty has 9 years’ experience as a designer and has been at Born + Raised since July 2016.
She leads projects for some of our most established clients, and is always keen to chuck ideas into creative kick-off meetings. As well as enjoying the concept phase of projects, Kirsty also likes getting down to the nitty gritty of designing complex materials and delivering a concept across a campaign
She also likes getting involved with projects for our clients in the local community like Victoria Quays, the Canal & River Trust and The Steel Man.
I get a real buzz around that point of a project where you can see how it is going to work, whether that’s landing on a concept you are really excited about or designing a layout that is going to flow really well.
Her past work includes leading the design of three Varsities for the Sheffield Universities, welcoming Hallam students with two Welcome Weeks, helping to reduce crime with South Yorkshire Police, encouraging Sheffield to Buy Local Buy Social, promoting, judging and delivering three student exhibitions, and reducing waste with Sheffield City Council.
She’s a granny at heart, and is in her happy place when she’s tending her veg patch or crafting away at a knitting or macramé project.
Here’s her two word combo: Grids + Growing.
